Oversized Packaging In Supermarket Products

How many times do you open a product from a supermarket and frustrating find it is half-empty? To mind come cereals, washing powder and vegetable stock, but there are countless others. This is done by manufacturers to convince us we are getting more for our money, but if packaging was reduced to the correct size for it’s contents, not only would less packaging be used, but also there would be a big saving on transportation costs in the reduction in volume and weight of the packaging and, of course, the consumer would feel less ripped-off.
