*** Supermarkets and independent Zero Waste Shops working together ***

What if supermarkets funded/loaned some small independent zero waste businesses and set up within their stores.

It would raise the supermarkets profile, they would get their funding/loan back through sales (maybe reinvest or invest in another stores pop up shop), a free trial run for the supermarket (because the supermarket is not operating it). It would create paid jobs, allow the customers to have a choice, getting them to think about their purchases as well as easing customers into changing their habits.

It’s just an idea because I do not have faith that the supermarkets are going to be a quick fix like many hope, just because Morrison’s and Waitrose have decided to trial lose foods it doesn’t mean it’s instantly going to be rolled out across the country in one go.
